How to Choose the Right TV Wall Mount
Mounting a TV is one of the fastest ways to make a room feel finished — but the mount you pick matters just as much as where you hang it. Here's how we help customers decide.
Match the mount to how you watch
- Flat (low-profile): best when you sit straight in front of the TV and want it tight to the wall.
- Tilt: great for TVs mounted a little high — over a fireplace, for example — so you can angle the screen down.
- Full-motion: the most flexible. Swivel and extend the screen for open-plan rooms or corners.
Check the size and weight
Every mount lists a screen-size range and a weight limit. Your TV's manual has both numbers. When in doubt, size up — a sturdier mount is always the safer call.
Don't forget the wall behind it
Drywall with studs is straightforward. Tile, brick, or a media niche can change the hardware you need. If you're not sure what's behind the wall, that's exactly the kind of thing we handle on-site.
Want us to handle it?
We'll bring the right mount and hardware, hide the wires, and make sure it's dead level before we leave. Book a TV mounting service online and we'll take it from there.
